2015 GFCC Annual Meeting and Global Innovation Summit
The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (GFCC) 2015 Annual Meeting and Global Innovation Summit will convene high-level leaders from business, government, academia, civil society, and global think tanks for vibrant discussions on the state of global competitiveness and ways to enhance innovation capacity worldwide.This year’s event will focus on the infrastructure challenge for national competitiveness. Participants will meet to exchange ideas, discuss best practices, and develop a joint action agenda on fostering innovation and competitiveness through infrastructure development. Creating cities that will address rapid urbanization will be an important challenge of the 21st Century, especially we enter a new urbanization era; 2.5 billion people are expected to be added to the global urban population in the next 35 years, mainly in Africa and Asia. In this panel, innovative global leaders will debate the challenges and solutions for cities, highlighting relevant experiences, trends and goals.
